For Earth Day, our school did more than speak about environmental protection: it took visible local action. The two trees planted together with the 18th district municipality represent care for nature, civic cooperation and responsibility toward future generations.

The photo shows the newly planted trees. The surrounding area is still being arranged, but the Earth Day initiative has already left a lasting mark on the neighborhood.
Memorial plaques
One tree was planted in memory of Jane Goodall. Her name is connected with chimpanzee research, wildlife protection and environmental education that encourages young people to take action.
The other tree marks David Attenborough's 100th birthday. His work has introduced generations to the beauty and fragility of the natural world through educational documentaries.
Role models
Jane Goodall became known worldwide as a researcher and conservationist. Her observations of chimpanzee behavior changed how many people think about the relationship between humans and animals. Her institute supports nature conservation, community action and environmental responsibility among young people.
David Attenborough is a British natural history broadcaster and educator. His documentaries have brought wildlife closer to millions of viewers while drawing attention to biodiversity loss and the importance of protecting the natural world.
